Burning candles are a delightful way to scent and bring a relaxing atmosphere and ambiance to your home!

Read and carefully follow all instructions as candle care and burning is a responsibility. Our warning labels are located on the bottom of your candle. Following these tips below will increase the enjoyment of your candles.

  • Never leave a candle unattended, extinguish all candles when leaving the room or going to bed. This is one of the most important safety measures for you and your family.

  • Remove all wrapping and labeling before lighting your candles.

  • Always trim the wick 1/4" before burning and before you light your candles. This helps the candles burn longer and also cuts down on the soot release. Always center the wick after burning.

  • Extinguish container and votives when the wax is within 1/2” of the bottom of the container. This is a safety precaution for the glass container can get hot and cause damage or break.

  • Keep lit candles away from flammable materials, such as curtains, sheets, paper, etc. Keep the candle wax free from matches, wick trimmings, and any other flammable material.

  • Always burn candles on a stable, heat resistant surface.

  • Do not move when candles are burning as glass, containers and holders may become hot.

  • Do not use a candle that the glass container is chipped, cracked or scratched.

  • To keep the best scent throw and burn time, keep candles away from any drafts, vents and air currents.

  • Burn your candles for one hour per one inch diameter of the container to assure a full completed melted top so that all wax in the container will be used. Lighting a candle and not letting it burn the amount of time to completely melt across the top can cause your candle to burn improperly. This will cause it to burn down the middle and leave wax on the sides that will be unused.

  • Some scents smell good enough to eat, so keep candles away from children and pets at all times.

  • Burn votives in a tight fitting votive holder, votives will liquefy in 30 minutes if not placed in a holder and always burn votives on heat resistant surfaces.

  • Wax melts are for use only in appropriate burners. Remove all packaging and labeling before placing in burner. Use in well ventilated burner without lid and do not add water.

  • Our candles contain no lead in the wicks as the use of lead wicks is prohibited in the USA. We use zinc core wicks that are perfectly safe.

  • The best way to extinguish candles is with a candle snuffer or wick dipper.
